Jump drives should merely be an alternative to gates but you still have to use the jump routes that exist now. The only advantage of a jump drive should be that they let you jump to two systems that are connected on the map but that don't actually...

I think if you're doing slaves-for-standing then you should lose Amarr standing and gain Gallente, Caldari, Minmatar and Servant Sisters of EVE standing.
